The weather is clear and sunny!
The long-awaited day of the 7th OASIS has finally arrived. All the staff have been diligently checking the weekly weather forecast for weeks! The probability of rain in Miki City, which was initially 30%, dropped rapidly, and finally hit 0% the day before! (Happy)
I'm sure there were many people (I'd like to think) who had been looking forward to this day, even neglecting their work, but I've never been so happy about the clear weather that day. Thanks to that, the staff's enthusiasm had been incredibly high since the day before!
Some staff members were so excited or anxious about the next day's arrangements that they could barely sleep the night before. One staff member, Mr. Maru, apparently held a ticket quiz at 3am...
In fact, the majority of people who applied for advance tickets for this OASIS were attending for the first or second time. This led regulars to predict that "they'll decide whether to attend depending on the weather." I understand how they feel. However, I hope more people apply for advance tickets! It makes me anxious! I don't think it's a bad thing to write about the feelings of the staff here.
Gate Open
At 8:40 a.m., the gates finally opened and participants' vehicles began to enter.

[Left] Traffic jam at the gate in front of GP Miki! Roadsters on both sides!
[Right] People are entering one after another!
At this year's OASIS, an unexpected incident occurred for the first time in the seven-year history of OASIS: the parking lot became full. At one point, we considered asking participants to park in the backup parking lot, but after checking the situation in the main parking lot, we were able to safely park all of the participants' cars there.
People immediately started preparing for the flea market in front of their cars.
People who are engrossed in chatting with people they haven't seen in a long time
People who are immediately interviewed by magazines
A person who was busy checking the participants' cars
OASIS has already started before the stage event even begins!
Chapter 2: A Day in the Lives of Unfilial People

[Bottom left] Wow, those cars are really colorful!
[Top right] Relax and unwind!
[Bottom right] This is an interview with Road&Ster.
opening
Meanwhile, OASIS is finally kicking off! This year's opening will be the Pizza Dance! (?)
For those who don't know, here's a little explanation. Every year, OASIS kicks off with a dance. The material changes every year, but we put a lot of thought into this dance.
The story of this dance begins with the opening narration. This year's narration was about Takashima ordering three pizzas at a pizza shop. The key point is the "three" part. The three people who received the order hold up three fingers to confirm that it was an order for three pizzas, but the person on the far right holds up two fingers. That's right, this person mistook the order for two pizzas for the delivery guy in the middle, so the delivery guy in the middle doesn't have any pizzas. So, in true Kansai style, they had no choice but to try and cover it up with a laugh, and that's this year's story. Did you get it? Probably not everyone did (wry smile). But that's okay! The staff are having fun doing it! (LOL)

[Left] Great success! (?)
[Right] The MC appears! Wow! Looking at the audience, I see a lot of people applauding! I hope everyone enjoyed this year's opening!
OASIS Poll
The first stage project of the year was the "OASIS Opinion Poll." Based on a questionnaire filled out in advance by those who purchased their car in advance, the quiz asked participants to guess what Roadster owners around the world were thinking. The participants were a total of four people: a representative from Mazda, a representative from RCOJ2, and two club representatives.

This year, the new Roadster will be released, so we came up with some related questions. The first question is, "What color suits the NC?"
Mazda's representative is from the marketing department, so you'd think this would be a piece of cake, but he struggled. The two hosts repeatedly criticized him, saying things like, "You work in marketing, so you should know!" and "What's the best-selling body color for naturally aspirated cars? Answer me in five seconds!", and even went so far as to say, "I really don't know anything. What do you know about the Roadster? Do you know if the roof opens or if it's a two-seater?" (LOL).

[Left] Mr. M checks the participants' opinions.
[Right] The two hosts yelling abuse at the four respondents (LOL)
In the end, the answer was as follows:
Silver
blue
Red
white
Yellow
The next question was, "If you buy an NC, what would you change first?" Naturally, you'd expect wheels, but it might be number one. If you choose the number one answer, you'll be doomed and receive negative points, so you'll want to aim for number two, but this is tricky! While you can guess wheels, aero parts, and suspension, the answer that surprised me was "change the front mask." OASIS relentlessly delivers the real opinions of the participants, even in the presence of the NC's chief development engineer (wry smile).
Furthermore, the two hosts responded by saying, "The NC's suspension has a bad reputation, doesn't it?" (laughs) Chief Engineer Takashima, who was in attendance that day, is a suspension specialist. They are completely fearless (laughs).
While this was going on, the mini-game "Gesture Quiz" began. This is a new gag for OASIS this year. One supporter was selected and asked to make various gestures. The four contestants looked at the gestures and tried to guess what they were trying to express.

[Top right] The hero of RCOJ2 appears in style
[Bottom left] This person has incredible skills!
[Bottom right] This person is also quite talented!
Four performers were selected, and the game began. First up was the Mazda team.
It took a while for anyone to volunteer to do the gesture, but Mizuochi-san gave us some advice(?) saying "There's a Mazda employee in the audience!" and this person was chosen.

[1st photo] What gesture is this? The answer is a blinker.
[2nd photo] Since this is a car-related issue, there are naturally things like power strips.
[3rd photo] After octopus tentacles, we have "tentacles"! This is a combo question! If you use the gesture of moving the feet in the previous question, it will be difficult to express "tentacles"!
[4th photo] My girlfriend was a little embarrassed at first, but she was very happy! She had a great time (lol).
Next up was the RS Club representative team. At this point, something unexpected happened to the staff! This team got all the answers right! (Amazing!)
The rule was that the team that answered all the questions correctly would get 150 points, but they didn't think that they would actually get all the questions right, so they quickly changed the rules. They got 100 points. Naturally, the cheering section booed. But the MC's words ended it with this: " I make the rules! " What an arrogant MC (lol)

[Top left] This was the only question that the respondent had trouble answering. Senga-san was stuck for an answer and came up with, "Something you put in your butt."
[Top right] The cheering section erupts with excitement as everyone answers all the questions correctly!
[Bottom left] A firm handshake between the questioner and the respondent! (laughs)
[Bottom right] The hero pumping his fist in the air! Wow, that was a really cool gesture!
Next up was the RCOJ2 team. Mizuochi from RCOJ2 struggled to come up with the word "sunroof"! "You know, the one that opens on the roof!" he said, even though he knew what it was! Groans of frustration could be heard from the cheering section (LOL).

[1st photo] Headlight. He was answering with his arms crossed and in easy mode.
[Second photo] What is this? The answer is a shift knob. This was also answered briefly.
[3rd photo] This is the problematic "sunroof!" I tried desperately to explain, but Mizuochi was at a loss for words.
[4th photo] Ah, what did I do?
Lastly, the representative team of the participants. But before that, let's take a look at the audience.
Everyone looks like they're having fun! It's fun for the staff to take photos too!
I'm so glad it was sunny this year... (crying)

[Top left] Having fun!
[Top right] I'm having fun after all!
[Bottom left] Still having fun!
[Bottom right] I'm enjoying this too!
Now, the last team is up next. Here are the gestures of the participants' representative team.
The questions chosen by this team included combo questions that the staff were very happy with: "U-Turn," "Side Turn," and "Happy Turn" (LOL).
It's difficult to make gestures for Happy Turn.
But this problem was also solved by this team.

This concludes the OASIS poll.
Next, we'll report on the venue!

[Top left] KG Works full aero!
[Top right] Everyone is enjoying the ticket quiz.
[Bottom left] A variety of Roadsters gathered together!
[Bottom right] Mr. H, a regular customer, appears to have found a treasure at the flea market.
So, the venue was filled with a lot of Roadsters like this.
We look forward to seeing many different Roadsters from you this year as well!
And finally, we all took a group photo!
